Introduction
Angekiva is a subgenus with three known species. They are found in eastern Australia, from Queensland to Tasmania.
Characteristics
The antennal stylet is present or absent, and the antenna is without pollinosity. The median groove of the pronotum is coarsely punctate. The paramedian grooves are coarsely to sparsely punctate, curved, and more or less linear, except at the extreme base. Pollinosity is largely limited to the punctures. The angular seta is present or absent. The marginal seta is absent. The prosternum is coarsely punctate, and these punctures are either generally distributed or else they are limited to the margins of the precoxal carinae. The elytral striae are glabrous. The middle tibiae are without lateral setae or serrulation.
