Amblytelini
David R. MaddisonMonophyly of Amblytelini and relationship to Psydrini
This group of carabids is clearly monophyletic, as indicated by both morphological (Baehr, 1999) and molecular (Maddison et al., 1999) data. The molecular data is particularly compelling. These beetles have typically been placed with the Psydrini, but there seems to be no evidence available for such a relationship (Baehr, 1999; Maddison et al., 1999).
